Death of Persephone
I whipped her perfect angel brigtness, In her eyes, tears lingering Of fear, slaughtering the righteous So good to burn her perfect skin...
First she taunted, but falling crept Into the underworld of desire Then she succumbed, and I teasing licked And drew her back, fingers of fire
She took my crystal heart and smashed, Her perfect face melted and dripped Across her skull, the angel crashed To earth, the painted mask had slipped
Her screams they tore through reddened eyes, A haze of blooodlust, passion, hunger, They spurred me on, the dying cries Of the angel as I pushed her under.
Now her memory but remains, Acid tears sting self-inflicted lashes Her blood her marble features stains, All that remains now, perfect ashes.
